This is a popular kite with schools. The kite can easily be made in 1.5 hours, but decoration and flying time can make it into a half day activity.
It is a clear plastic kite which can be decorated with permanent marker pens. It does not require scissor use.
Because it is clear plastic, you can provide the children with printed images to place under the kite to trace from. In our experience, this helps those who struggle for inspiration, or aren't confident in their drawing abilities.
Each kit contains a clear plastic kite skin (52cm x 39cm), 2 sticks, 1 bridle line, 1 plastic kite reel, sticky tape and one plastic tail.
The transparent kites come with 5 coloured tails - red, green, blue, orange and yellow. Unless you supply a preference for just one colour, you will be provided with a mixture.
One copy of easy to follow kite making and flying instructions will be provided in printed format per order. Digital instructions can be provided in pdf format by email upon request. This may be useful if you wish to print one copy per person.
